Deadstock Hero (“we,” “us,” or “our”) provides inventory analytics and recovery planning tools for Shopify merchants. This policy explains how we handle personal information when you install or use our app and visit this website.

Information we collect

When a merchant installs Deadstock Hero through Shopify, we receive the Shopify data needed to provide the app. This may include store information, product and inventory data, order and sales information, and contact details supplied by Shopify for the store account. We may also receive information you send to us directly, such as support requests.

How we use information

We use this information to provide and improve Deadstock Hero; generate inventory-health insights and campaign recommendations; communicate about support, service and account matters; prevent misuse; and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell personal information or use Shopify customer data for advertising.

How we share information

We share information only with service providers that help us operate the app, when required by law, or as part of a business transfer. Those providers may process data only on our instructions and for the services they provide to us.

Data retention and security

We retain inventory-analysis data only for as long as needed to operate the service. Order line-item history is retained for the analysis window and a margin required for calculation; velocity snapshots and activity logs are regularly pruned. We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Shopify privacy requests

Deadstock Hero receives Shopify’s mandatory customer data and shop data privacy webhooks. The app does not store customer names, email addresses, shipping addresses or customer identifiers in its inventory analytics. When Shopify sends a shop-redact request, we delete the shop record and its related catalog, inventory, sales, campaign and activity data.

Your choices

You may uninstall Deadstock Hero at any time through Shopify. To request access, correction or deletion of information we hold about you, email support@deadstockhero.com. We may need to verify your request before responding.

International transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
